General Notice
As
the host of www.freechild.org, CommonAction has created this notice of
privacy to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy related to our web
site.
We
endeavor to keep this site available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
However, we are subject to the same technological challenges, including
hardware and systems failures, as anyone else using the Internet. We will
also occasionally need to bring the site down to make updates and content
changes.
Following are the terms of our privacy policy and the terms of use for users
of www.freechild.org, which all users expressly understand and agree to upon
visiting any page contained within the parameters of any website which is
owned by The Freechild Project:
Privacy Policy
CommonAction, host of www.freechild.org, is committed to protecting the
privacy of users of its services.
IP Address
We
use your IP address (aggregated with every other www.freechild.org user's IP
address) to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our Web
site, and to determine usage patterns of different areas of the site over
time. We cannot identify you as an individual via your IP address. It allows
us to determine what country you are from and what Internet service provider
you are using. This information is used internally only. This information
will never be shared, bartered or sold, even in the aggregate.
Personal Information
We do
not collect personal information when you use our site. Users are not
members, and CommonAction doesn't not offer memberships or other
signatory opportunities. We give you the opportunity to sign up for - and
opt out of - our e-mail newsletter at your own discretion. This
site contains links to other sites. The Freechild Project is not responsible
for the privacy practices or the content of these Web sites.
User Submissions
In
many places on www.freechild.org, we ask you to submit information such as
organizational profiles, links, handouts, etc. To provide such information,
you must send an email to
info@freechild.org. Please note that when you submit any material to
www.freechild.org, you are granting CommonAction and www.freechild.org a
license to use, display, publicly perform, distribute, reproduce, modify and
prepare derivative works from such material. Accordingly, we require that
you only submit information that is owned by you or which you have authority
or permission to submit to www.freechild.org. Liability for posting materials
without permission is the sole responsibility of the person who submitted
the materials. If you recognize materials on www.freechild.org that you believe
are being used without proper consent, please notify our staff at

Updating your Submissions
We

User Submissions
The
following shall apply to all submissions to the www.freechild.org website. Once
