The Freechild Project provides training, technical assistance and tools to community groups, nonprofit orgs, schools, and government agencies focused on community youth engagement.

Training

Since 2001, Freechild has facilitated professional and youth development opportunities for children, youth, and adults across the United States and Canada. We actively work with young people ages 8-18, youth workers, community organizers, educators, government officials, and parents interested in engaging youth voice throughout communities.

Technical Assistance

As organizations look to foster youth engagement throughout their activities and structures, The Freechild Project provides consulting, technical assistance, and evaluation services to assist with program planning, organizational development, and sustainability.

Tools

Freechild seeks to inspire and inform social change around the world by providing no-cost and low-cost resources directly to individuals and organizations. The Freechild website serves as a free access hub for our databases, publications and other resources, as well as the central contact point for organizations interested in our services.
